I- LEADERS NETWORK

IMPACTFUL LEADERS NETWORK POWERED BY HLS GROWTH MINDSET AND INTEGRATIVE LIFESTYLE ACADEMY Nigeria is a blessed nation.

Life is a journey and comes with perfections and imperfections .

As a people we need to be grateful to God for our strengths and have the humility to accept our weaknesses and look for sustainable strategies to strive to turn them into strengths

LEADERSHIP is a skill which most times have to be acquired .

Some people are born with leadership skills, they need to engage in consistent and continuous personal development, learn and grow so they can become more capable and competent leaders.

The most effective way to develop and acquire leadership skills is through continuous and consistent personal development in all areas of life ,spiritual mental, emotional, physical, relationships, marriages, finances and purpose .

Today, we stand at a critical juncture in Nigeria’s journey—a journey marked by immense potential, rich cultural heritage, and unparalleled resources.

Yet, despite our vast wealth in human and natural resources, Nigeria continues to grapple with challenges that hinder our collective progress.

To unlock the full potential of our country, we must integrate personal development leadership and societal development in a way that is transformative, inclusive, and sustainable.

INTEGRATING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, LEADERSHIP AND SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT

In today’s rapidly changing world, the integration of personal development, leadership, and societal development has become increasingly important.

These three dimensions, when effectively intertwined, can create a powerful synergy that not only propels individuals to reach their full potential but also drives collective progress within communities and nations.

Understanding how these elements interrelate and reinforce each other is crucial for fostering sustainable growth and meaningful change.

Personal development begins with self-awareness—the ability to recognize one’s strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations.

By engaging in continuous self-improvement, individuals can enhance their skills, knowledge, and emotional intelligence.

This growth is foundational to effective leadership, as leaders must first understand and lead themselves before they can inspire and guide others .

The integration of personal development, leadership, and societal development requires an integrative approach.

Personal growth fuels leadership capabilities, which in turn drive societal progress.

Conversely, a society that values and supports development at all levels fosters the emergence of capable leaders and thriving society

Integrating personal development, leadership, and societal development is essential for creating lasting positive change.

Individuals who invest in their own growth become more effective leaders, and these leaders, in turn, drive societal progress.

By recognizing the interconnectedness of these elements, we can create a world where individuals thrive, leaders inspire, and societies flourish.

This integrated approach is the key to unlocking the full potential of both people and communities, leading to a brighter future for all

Leadership is a critical element in any organization, community, or society. The effectiveness of leadership determines the success or failure of any group or project. While different contexts might require specific leadership styles, there are certain qualitative attributes that define good, capable, and competent leadership. These qualities enable leaders to inspire trust, foster innovation, and guide their citezens toward achieving shared values
The I- LEADERS HUB offers profound knowledge strategies and skills that men , women and youths can acquire to be intentional about leadership and become passionate and impactful leaders

CHALLENGES FACING AFRICA

LEADERSHIP in Africa has not been without its challenges.

The continent has faced leadership crises characterized by corruption, authoritarianism, and a lack of accountability.

These issues have stifled development, creating cycles of poverty, inequality, and social unrest.

To break this cycle, we need a new breed of leaders who are not only competent but also empathetic—leaders who understand that development is not just about economic growth but about encouraging Nigerians and Africans to commit to constant and never – ending personal development for improved quality of lives for Nigerians and Africans.

INTEGRATING LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT.

To integrate leadership and development effectively, we must focus on several key areas:

1. EDUCATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING

Education is the bedrock of development. Our parenting and educational curriculum are primarily focused on formal certifications. We do not eqip our children and youths from early childhood skills and strategies to build true success.

We need to teach children to learn how to make empowering decisions that will help them build true success.

We need to invest in education systems that produce not just graduates but leaders—individuals who are critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators.

Leadership training should be incorporated at all levels of education, from primary schools to universities, and beyond. I will expantiate on this when i give the pathway to improving our leadership in Nigeria and Africa

This will ensure that the next generation is equipped with the skills and profound knowledge needed to lead in various sectors, from personal lives,,families politics , Religion business to science and technology

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT.

Economic development is intrinsically linked to leadership.

Leaders must create environments that foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic diversification.

This means investing in infrastructure, supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and ensuring access to capital for all, especially women and youth.

When people are economically empowered, they are better positioned to contribute to national development and hold their leaders accountable.

One of the most important things to be done to improve our wealth is to teach youths to realize that they are blessed with innate resources which they must activate to become focused, determined, committed to work hard and not be looking for free gifts .

Our youths must move away from get – rich quick syndrome and mindset reprogramming , behavioral modifications and values reorientation must be included in our educational curriculum.
Inner contentment, happiness, honesty transparency integrity compassion empathy passion and impact can be learnt also

3. GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY .
For development to be sustainable, it must be underpinned by good governance.

This requires leaders who are accountable to their people and transparent in their actions.

We need strong institutions that can enforce the rule of law, protect human rights, and ensure that public resources are used effectively.

Citizens must also play a role in this by being active participants in governance, demanding accountability, and refusing to accept mediocrity.

4. INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT.

Development in Nigeria and Africa must be inclusive, ensuring that no one is left behind. This means addressing the disparities that exist between urban and rural areas, rich and poor, and different ethnic and social groups.

Leaders must work to create policies that promote social inclusion, gender equality, and equitable access to resources and opportunities. Tribal and Religious dichotomy should be discouraged .

HARNESSING AFRICA’S YOUTH AND INNOVATION .

Africa’s youth are its greatest asset. With over 60% of the continent’s population under the age of 25, we have a unique opportunity to harness this demographic dividend.

Leaders must invest in youth by providing quality education, skills training, and opportunities for meaningful employment. Moreover, we must encourage innovation and creativity, particularly in sectors like technology and agriculture, where Africa has the potential to lead globally.

The HLS Youth Growth mindset and integrative lifestyle programme and our book BE AN ASSET TO YOUR WORLD THROUGH GROWTH MINDSET AND INTEGRATIVE LIFESTYLE is a very good resource material that will provide the youths the profound knowledge strategies and skills they need to strive to become better versions of themselves and acquire leadership skills to live impactful lives

REGIONAL COOPERATION :

No African country can achieve its full potential in isolation.

Regional cooperation and integration are essential for collective progress.

African leaders must work together to resolve conflicts, promote trade, and address transnational issues like climate change, health pandemics, and terrorism.

The African Union and regional economic communities should play a central role in fostering unity and collaboration across the continent..
These submissions are great and profound but will be a mirage if there is no pathway to provide knowledge, strategies and skills for nigerians and Africans to strive to become better versions of themselves and become assets to themselves, their families commumities and societies. We can then have a pool of men , women and youths who can go into leadership with the necessary skills to be capable and competent leaders in Nigeria and Africa

As a growth mindest and integrative lifestyle specialist, I do not focus on the superficial signs and symptoms of life challenges. I focus on the root causes and profer solutions that can eliminate the root causes of ourc challenges through continuous and consistent commitment to this lifestyle so that our society can become the master- piece ordained by God.
I present to us the :
THE 11 ACTIONS WE NEED TO IMPROVE OUR LIVES , OUR LEADERSHIP AND THE NIGERIAN AND AFRICAN SOCIETY

1. WE ALL NEED TO BUILD A SOLID SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION.

Many of us profess to be Christians and MuslIms in words but not in deed. We are a praying nation, and yet our decadence level is deep.

In 2024, we should all strive to reduce religious rituals and make effort to live more in the spirit and less in the flesh. When we live mostly in the flesh, we make poor choices, which give rise to unnecessary challenges in our lives. We begin to live mostly in survival mode and attempt to solve our challenges with quick fix methods that are usually not effective solutions.

Sometimes, we resort to blaming others- our parents, spouses, family members, and friends for our challenges. We refuse to take personal responsibility for the changes we need to make that could help us resolve our challenges.

The Churches and Mosques are great platforms to teach the growth mindset and integrative lifestyle, as human beings do not consist only of the spiritual but also the mental, emotional, and physical aspects. Many of us are not obedient to the dictates of the Bible and Koran and engage in many vices and inappropriate behaviours that contribute to the deep decadence in our society. The Growth mindset and integrative lifestyle should be taught in our Churches and Mosques as it would help in reducing our societal vices.

2. OUR LEADERSHIP NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.

Our current leaders need to upgrade their leadership skills and commit to the GROWTH MINDSET INTEGRATIVE LIFESTYLE AND THE PRINCIPLE OF CANI – constant and never-ending improvement in all areas of their lives.

To effectively address the lapses in our electoral processes, we need to focus on sustainable solutions. However our usual habit is to stay on the side lines and complain. We need to put in place electoral reforms that will make it almost impossible to cheat and manipulate the electoral processes.

Our present Nigerian and African leadership is aware that Nigeria and Africa need to be rebuilt so they ought to engage the best talents and minds in the technology of change to put in place a working implementable document that can be used to start the rebuilding of Nigeria and Africa with the first step of choosing capable and competent leadseship.

A good leader does not necessarily need to have all the knowledge, but is humble to engage talents and experts in the different developmental indices and support them to design, strategize and also implement a well – articulated plan through the ministries.
Robust economic and wealth creation policies should be put in place followed by daily commitments and actions until success is achieved.

Our leaders should strive to improve on their integrity and responsibility indices so they can motivate the younger ones to live responsibly. They should be role models of good character.

However, the focus should not only be on our political leaders It is important we all accept the responsibility of leadership in our spheres of influence. We must all cultivate the habit of learning and growing especially acquiring personal development and leadership skills for better decision – making, performance and productivity

We need more leaders, men women and youths of good character.

We should promote role models of good character to inspire the younger generation to make more empowering choices and decisions for true success.

3. OUR PARENTING AND EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO INCLUDE GROWTH MINDSET AND INTEGRATIVE LIFESTYLE.

We need to modify our parenting skills and educational curriculum to include basic knowledge, strategies, and wisdom for a successful living.

Certificates and degrees are important stepping stones to success but do not guarantee true success.

We need to teach children early in life about commitment to the growth mindset, which is a continuous and consistent personal development in all areas of life, spiritual mental, emotional, and physical.

It is important that our young people are taught relationship skills so they can be empowering partners and spouses, building their relationships with wise words and actions instead of tearing them down.

Parents should invest in growth mindset and integrative lifestyle training for their children so they will grow up with wisdom and knowledge to cope with inevitable challenges of life and become truly successful.

4 WE NEED TO STRIVE TO LIVE WITH POSITIVE MINDSETS.

A lot of people are not intentional about living with positive mindsets and attitudes.

We pretend to be happy and at peace externally, but we are loaded with toxins emanating from inner disharmony, lack of inner contentment, peace, self-love, and compassion.

The saying that all that glitters is not gold apply to many people we encounter. We are too focused on external beauty; we hardly focus on the inner being, so we may live with people who are in a constant state of inner agitation, frustration, and anger.
It is no wonder our relationship challenges and conflict index are increasing on a daily basis.

People have to acquire knowledge on mindset reprogramming, attitudinal, behavioral changes, and values reorientation from our primary and secondary schools, universities, churches, and mosques.

Organisations and leadership should encourage Nigerians to take courses in positive mindset and attitude so we can have more people in inner contentment, harmony, happiness, peace, humility, integrity, transparency, compassion, empathy and impact.

This will help improve the quality of our citizenship and leadership so we can all collectively rebuild the Nigerian and African nation.

5. WE NEED TO MAKE MORE HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES TO PREVENT CHRONIC DISEASES AND ACHIEVE VIBRANT HEALTH.

Many people are suffering and dying from lifestyle preventable chronic diseases.
Conventional modality of care is important in our health care system, but it does not have all the solutions to our heath crisis.

Many people are living with body dysfunctions, minerals, and vitamin deficiencies, which are indications that the organs are beginning to malfunction.

We need to look at the quality of food we are producing in the society and strive to use proven organic Agro products that can help us produce healthier foods that will nourish our cells instead of destroying our cells and giving rise to cancers and other chronic diseases.

We must all learn stress coping skills as stress is a silent killer.

In 2024 may those in charge of our health sector focus on upgrading our primary health centers to preventive and integrative wellness centers so that medical doctors and other health care professionals can learn the lifestyle to pass the knowledge to thousands of Nigerians in their communities.

We need to upgrade the quality of our water to clean alkaline mineralized anti–oxidant rich hydrogen infused energy healing water to hydrate the cells to help in the improvement of the functioning of the cells.

Medical doctors, pharmacists, and other health care professionals can be trained in the use of research –backed effective nutritional supplements that can support conventional therapies in fast tracking recovery from chronic diseases.

Health starts in the spirit and mind so it is important Nigerians learn how to appropriate the healing power of God, inherent in their bodies to build their health and use positive words and affirmations to help their bodies rebalance itself.

Exercises, breathing techniques, and meditations are also advisable habits that can help rebuild our health.

May our morbidity and mortality rates be drastically reduced in 2024 by empowering choices and God’s Grace.

6. LET US STRIVE TO BUILD HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND MARRIAGES.

Relationship and marriage challenges in our society are becoming an epidemic.

They require urgent attention if society would be saved from the detrimental effects of toxic relationships, separations, and divorce.

Our parenting skills, Christian and Muslim marriage counseling classes hardly focus on the root causes of these challenges, but focus only on the spiritual side of issues.

Our educational curriculum also focuses mostly on certification and degree without equipping young people with the knowledge, skills and strategies for building healthy relationships and marriages.

Most of our youths go into relationships and marriages ill-equipped with the skills to face the inevitable challenges that life relationships and marriages present.

They are usually impatient, focusing on their spouse’s weaknesses instead of their strengths.

They have unrealistic expectations and set rules that are easily broken by their spouses. So many of our youths live with inner agitation and failed expectations.

In that state of inner disharmony, their communications are often combative. Due to the habit of not engaging in frank empowering conversations, most young couples bottle up their inner emotions. This practice lays the foundation for inter-personal conflicts which are some of the root causes of separations and divorces.
We need to equip our young ones with the necessary skills and tools needed to build healthy relationships and marriages.

7. WOMEN AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT.

We can experience rapid growth in the number of women and youths who rise from poverty to self-reliance.

We need a robust program for women and youth empowerment, which can be community based, supported by funds from the government and private sector, and driven by honest and credible Nigerians and africans
Most of the food we import can be produced in Nigeria. It is a big shame that the plant nutrients we use to grow our food are still imported from Asian countries. Agro and digital technology empowerment are very good tools to help empower millions of women and youths

We are blessed with enormous material and human resources. Let us strive in 2024 to empower our women and youths to become self-reliant through training and investment in farm cultivation, digital technology, and other developmental projects.

8. WE NEED TO ACQUIRE SKILLS IN CONFLICT RESOLUTION TO REDUCE OUR CONFLICT INDEX.

The incidence of inter personal conflicts in our families and society is increasing at an alarming rate.

Nigerians and Africans need training to acquire conflict resolution skills so that families will avoid the unnecessary toxicity that tears families apart and impact negatively on the children of the marriage. Interpersonal conflicts also weaken our immune systems and affect our health and wellbeing.

It is important that we all commit to a lifestyle that makes us peace makers instead of being controlled by our ego and destructive self pride.

9. WE NEED A ROBUST SOCIAL IMPACT STRATEGY

In 2024, we must all commit to supporting our weak and vulnerable brothers and sisters.
Social impact is a very important aspect of every society.

We need to strategically put in place a social support system for widows, orphans, the hungry, homeless, and those who cannot afford hospital bills.
My perspective is that such support systems should be community based so they can be easily monitored to assess the impact made. There should be a robust collaboration between the government and the private sector in supporting the less privileged of our society.

We can collectively change the lives of millions of the less privileged in our society by God’s grace.

10. WOMEN AND YOUTHS MUST ARISE AND COLLABORATE TO MAKE MORE LEADERSHIP AND SOCIAL IMPACT

In 2024, Nigerian women should change the marginalization mindset to the WE CAN DO mindset. Women are made with innate talents that give them the ability to multi-task. They are strong, resilient, determined, committed, focused, and generally more honest than men.

Women need a sustainable strategic road map that can provide training platforms for women and their children, the youths in leadership skills, and successful living.

The strategy should include empowerment and impact projects.

Women must walk their talk by pooling resources to impact lives of the less privileged and also support women and youths to vie for political leadership and support them with funds through the election process.

This year must be the year of critical thinking and a sustainable implementation strategy that can get more women and youths into the high echelons of our political leadership.

11. THE RULE OF LAW MUST BE UPHELD IRRESPECTIVE OF SOCIAL STATUS

One of our greatest challenges in this society is that we do not impose sanctions for offenses, especially against the highly placed.
The judiciary is also compromised. Our values as a people are grossly eroded. The culture eulogizes ill gotten wealth giving young people the impression it is acceptable to make quick money under questionable circumstances. Let year 2024 be a year of reawakening for all of us. Let us bring back the principle– centered values of honesty, transparency, patriotism, and integrity, which gave us a solid foundation as a nation. Let us be the light that pales the darkness in our lives.

CONCLUSION:
Ladies and gentlemen, the integration of leadership and development is not just an option; it is a necessity for Nigeria and Africa’s future. Development, capable and competent leadseship are skills. If an individual goes for leadership without the necessary attributes of leadership the person will fail .The most important decision our present Nigerian and African leaders should
Take is to encourage Nigerians and Africans at whatever age to invest in personal development so they can strive to improve their spiritual, mental , emotional and physical lives, build healthy relationships and marriages as toxic marriage is very detrimental to health, wel- being decision making, performance and productivity. We inspire women, men and youths to adopt the Growth mindset and integrative lifestyle to strive to work exuding principle- centered values that make good leaders and citizenship for a better Nigeria and Africa

I change , you change , we change and society changes . Can we ??yes we can
Nigeria and Africa
Can we yes we can
Can we yes we can by Gods grace
