Tribute From the Late Chief (Sir) FGN Okoye family to our Beloved Sister - Hon.Justice Chinwe Eugenia Iyizoba JCA (Rtd) (Adadioranma)

With heavy hearts yet deep gratitude for a life well lived, the Late Chief (Sir) FGN Okoye family of Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State of Nigeria eulogize our beloved Sister, Sister in-law and Aunt-Hon.Justice Chinwe Eugenia Iyizoba Rtd. (Adadioranma) whose memory will remain evergreen in our hearts.

Adadioranma was the very embodiment of love, humility, and warmth. Calm in spirit and generous in heart, she carried herself with a quiet strength and a peaceful presence that comforted everyone around her. Her kindness was not loud; it was gentle, stable, and sincere, touching lives in ways that words can hardly capture.

In her distinguished legal career of 23 years on the Bench, starting with the High Court of Anambra State where she sat for 13 years, before she was elevated to the Court of Appeal, she served with dignity, wisdom, and integrity. She upheld justice with fairness and compassion, earning the respect of her colleagues on the Bench as well as members of the Bar; and the admiration of many who knew her both professionally and personally.

Beyond her remarkable professional life, Adadioranma was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter. For over twenty years, she lovingly cared for her husband through illness with unwavering patience and devotion. Her commitment was a living example of true love — selfless, enduring, and patient.

Adadioranma was a pillar of support to our parents during their lifetime, pampering them with love, care, and respect. Even after their passing, she remained a steadfast source of strength and unity in the family. Her loyalty to the FGN Okoye family never wavered. She was dependable, encouraging, and deeply connected to all of us. We all found comfort in her counsel and strength in her quiet mien and constant support.

In her husband’s extended family, she was the heart that held generations together. Both older Iyizoba’s and the younger ones felt her kindness, love and acceptance. She made everyone feel valued and welcomed.

Adadioranma’s life is a testimony that greatness is not only found in achievements, but in the way we treat people.

Though she has left us, Adadioranma lives on through the beautiful legacy she has left behind, especially in her three surviving children-Ebele, Onuora and Ifeyinwa, whom we have no doubt would carry forward her values, strength, and grace.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the gift of Adadioranma’s life. Her beautiful soul, calm spirit, generous heart, and the quiet love she gave so freely will remain etched in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Adadioranma jee ije gi nke oma! Until we meet to part no more.
