My experience of the sudden death of a family member has reinforced my belief that life is vanity upon vanity

This experience has reinforced my belief that the only peace we have in this world is striving to live in obedience to God and love for God.

There is no greater gift from God than making us His disciples. It brings harmony, happiness, inner contentment, kindness, honesty, transparency, integrity, gratitude, humility compassion, empathy, passion, and impact .

This experience has reinforced in me that life is transient and what truly counts is the value we add to our own lives and to the lives of others within our spheres of influence.

We profess Christianity, yet all around us there is a lack of love, compassion, and empathy. Instead, we see greed, envy, rising interpersonal conflicts, and increasing morbidity and mortality rates, as well as separation and divorce. We appear united in public, we laugh, pray, and dance, but behind closed doors, many are fighting inner battles, and there is a lack of genuine love for one another.

Many of us are selfish. We make choices thinking only about ourselves, rarely considering the consequences of our decisions on others.

We are not intentional about living in the Spirit rather than in the flesh. God’s grace is abundant in our lives, yet we choose to live inferior lives, creating avoidable challenges for ourselves.

We call on God, share Bible passages, preach, and attend prayer meetings, yet the glory of God is not reflected in our lives through our words, actions, and character.

We spend money on superficial things while poor relatives surround us. We give them fish but do not teach them how to fish, leaving them perpetually dependent.

This experience has rekindled my passion for advocating personal development anchored on a solid spiritual foundation, mental and emotional maturity, wisdom and common sense and developing the capacity and competence needed to become leaders in our spheres of influence.

When you acquire leadership skills, you become intentional about your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, words, decisions, actions, and character.

Money is good. External beauty is good. But without inner beauty and good character, an individual becomes a liability to themselves and to society.

Let us all unmask our masquerades and strive to be our true selves. For those blessed with spiritual discernment, we see beyond physical appearances.

I am not a perfect human being, so I do not expect perfection from others. However, be aware that your choices may either build or destroy.

I pray that millions of women, men, and youths will join the GMIL Discipleship Community to learn how to connect with God in a personal way, appropriate His spiritual power and authority, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in living intentionally in obedience and love for God.

Life comes with ups and downs and inevitable challenges. God’s grace is all we need to navigate these challenges, live passionate and impactful lives, and become assets to our world.

Let us strive to leave a noble legacy whenever God calls us.
