TRIBUTE TO JUSTICE CHINWE IYIZOBА- ADADIORANMA By Chief Oba Donald Nwandu On behalf of Late Chief DA Nwandu family
The ultimate measure of a man or woman is not where he or she stands in moments of
comfort and convenience, but where he or she stands at the times of challenge .
Justice Chinwe Iyizoba was the embodiment of this quote by Martin Luther King Jnr.
She was a true daughter of revered parents Late Sir and Lady F.G.N Okoye the genteel patriots of
Enugwu-Ukwu. Chii as she is fondly called was an epitome of humility
professionalism, a housewife par excellence: as you see her straight and open, beauty in and out.
She carried her cross with such dignity and equanimity that only her compassion and
composure enabled the husband outlive all predictions. Can you beat that?
She
must have worn a medal as the best ever caregiver. We did not even hear a thing that
Chinwe was in hospital sick, then all of a sudden the thunder bolt that she was dead came
upon us.
As we mourn this rare lady of substance, one thing I am very sure is that she is a treasure
for us all in heaven, fully united with her love Ossy.
Who are we to challenge the will of our Father in Heaven, who in His omniscience knows
what is best and good for us. ‘Omnia in bonum’ call is for good.
knows what is best for us
Justice Chinwe Iyizoba is gone, but her memories, contributions and legacies live on:- The
tastefully appointed dwelling mansion in Enugu – The Oranges; The
magnificent and spectacular abode in Nimo Anambra State. The Pathfinder, both of which she
helped the husband realise.
We shall all miss her greatly, her amiable, charming and humorous personality. She was
the type you feel relaxed and at home any time one is around her, contributing her best
to bring the best out of every one, just like at my 80th Birthday Celebration on the 21st of
September.
She was a star when she took to the floor and mic to stand in for her sister
Dr. Ifeyinwa Nwakwesi She was at her best and little did we know that that was a fare well outing
for that was the last most of us saw her alife. That is the vanity of this life.
May God grant her family and all of us that knew her the fortitude to bear this great loss.
Chii may your soul find rest in the Lord.
Oba Arc. D.A. Nwandu
